10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis has presented theories on grammar and viewpoints on teaching mother tongue to native speakers. Based on that theory, the thesis describes and evaluates grammar lessons in the Literature textbook for junior high school from grade 6 to grade 9 in terms of: viewpoints on grammar of the book series, theoretical presentation, practical presentation, distribution order, teaching capacity and evaluates good points, bad points and doubtful points. All are evaluated based on the native speaker perspective.
From the description, analysis and evaluation above, the thesis has pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the grammar section taught in the Literature textbook for secondary schools. The thesis also presents the results of a small survey of students at a secondary school on the teaching and learning of grammar. From there, the thesis makes recommendations to improve the quality of grammar lessons in particular and the teaching of Vietnamese to native speakers in general.

The thesis introduces theoretical background on grammar and the views of teaching native language to native speakers. On the basis of that theory, the thesis describes and evaluates grammar lessons in the Literature textbooks for grades 6 to the 9 in terms of : grammatical view of the textbook, how to express theory, how to express practice, distribution sequence, the volume of teaching content, and strength, weaknesses and doubtful points. All are evaluated based on the native viewpoint.
