Ecotourism is a type of tourism suitable for ethnic culture, where economic benefits are not the main focus but there is a more balanced balance between preserving and promoting ethnic culture and developing tourism.
Through the case of the Tay people in Pac Ngoi village, Nam Mau commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, it shows the potential of ethnic culture in ecotourism development activities; on the contrary, ecotourism has been and will be an important tool to preserve and promote ethnic culture, if we have an orientation, principles, choose the right types and have appropriate intervention measures.
