10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Adhering closely to the research axis set by the topic, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, and interpreted, building a theoretical basis related to the research problem. This is the role and relationship between social media and content development on Vietnamese online newspapers - a common trend in the development of modern journalism.

- Based on the established theoretical framework, the thesis surveys and evaluates the current state of using social media information to develop online newspaper content. This is based on surveys of major online newspapers such as Dan Tri, VnExpress, Vietnamplus, Vietnamnet, and social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, clearly identifying the advantages and disadvantages, particularly the causes of the disadvantages. Combined with public feedback surveys and in-depth interviews with experts, this provides a basis for proposing solutions to overcome the shortcomings.

Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis offers specific proposals and recommendations for media organizations regarding content development and improving the quality of articles when gathering information from social media in the future. Media organizations need to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities, proactively and actively collecting information from the public on social media, verifying its accuracy, and developing useful content; enhancing the capacity of specialized reporters and journalists; diversifying content and improving the methods of delivery; and making practical contributions to helping the press in general, and print and online newspapers in particular, better fulfill their roles and missions in addressing economic, political, cultural, and social issues in our country during the period of comprehensive industrialization, modernization, integration, and development.

The research findings have potential applications in organizing communication activities and developing information content for online newspapers in the future.

Based on the results of this study, further research directions can be developed, such as improving methods of information delivery so that social media users can quickly and accurately convey information to news agencies.

Focusing the research that is oriented by topics, from journalistic theoretical basis, analyzed thesis, synthesis, interpretation, and developed a theoretical basis related to research problems. That is the role, the relationship between social networks and the development content of electronic Vietnamese newspapers - a general trend in the development of modern journalism.

Based on theoretical issues, thesis investigated, assessing the situation on the use of information on social networks to develop electronic contents, based on a survey of newspaper pages e-mail such as Dantri, VnExpress, VietnamPlus, Vietnamnet and social networks such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ... indicates advantages and disadvantages, especially the causes of disadvantages; along with surveying the feedback from the public and experts in-depth interviews, as a basis for recommendations, remedies drawbacks.

From a theoretical basis and practical basis researched and investigated, these make proposals and specific recommendations to the press agencies in the development of content, the improvement of quality of the articles when collecting the information on social networks in the future.

Press agencies need to implement the role, responsibility, raise the sense of initiative, activity in collecting information from the public on the social network, to verify the accuracy and develop useful content; to improve the capacity reporter team, specialized journalists; to diversify the content, improve forms of transport, which helps the press; in general, print and electronic media; in particular; perform better its role before the issues of economy, politics, culture and society in the comprehensive period of accelerated industrialization and the modernization, integration and development.
