- Present the general characteristics of Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families in Honghe Prefecture (China), and specifically describe the current state of Vietnamese language use among mixed-race children in Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families.

- Survey of the Vietnamese language proficiency and skills of mixed-race children in Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families through questionnaires and in-depth interviews.

- Analyze the factors influencing the process of acquiring Vietnamese among mixed-race children, and then propose fundamental solutions to improve Vietnamese language proficiency for mixed-race children in Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families.

11. Practical applications:

This research initially clarifies some theoretical and practical issues surrounding multicultural families. In particular, the study delves into the language use of mixed-race children, specifically their use of Vietnamese. Through this research, we propose practical solutions for Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families to improve the Vietnamese language proficiency of mixed-race children in the Red River Delta region (China).

12. Future research directions

Expand the research on mixed-race children in Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families to explore various aspects: life, culture, education, etc., in order to gain a comprehensive picture of mixed-race children in Vietnamese-Chinese multicultural families in the border provinces of China and Vietnam.

Throughout the research process, we have introduced some practical solutions to improve the Vietnamese language skills for mixed-blood children in Honghe, Yunnan, China.
