- The thesis points out the characteristics of the school through analyzing the topics and communicative purposes of daily conversations in the film Hanoi People. At the same time, the thesis also builds an empirical model in those conversations according to the research direction of Halliday's systemic functional grammar.
- The thesis points out the characteristics of atmosphere that are expressed through personal expression (attitude, engagement strategy, escalation strategy) and social distance in conversations.
