10.1. Today, students live in an open society, interacting with many cultures and in a civilized environment; however, they are also easily influenced by many negative factors. Online game addiction is a common and increasingly alarming negative phenomenon, especially among students. The internet and online games are among the factors that impact the psychology and personality development, as well as the building of social relationships, of students. Informal peer groups, gender differences, living conditions (family, school, surrounding community), and age-related psychology are important factors influencing online game addiction among students.

10.2. Our research results also reflect the reality of online game addiction among students, with varying frequencies and levels.

10.3. The consequences of online game addiction, whether considered serious or less serious, have negative impacts on students' academic performance, cognitive and emotional development, and relationships with those around them.

10.4. Currently, methods and measures to reduce online gaming in schools have received little attention. Therefore, applying group social work intervention through a group work process using this method is a new approach in schools that we are researching here. With this approach, the initial results have been quite successful, and the set goals have been achieved to a certain extent. We would like to propose a model of group social work with the role of social workers in schools to help students reduce their current online gaming behavior in a more practical and effective way.

11.1. Nowadays students are living in an open society where they exchange, contact with many cultures. They live in a civilized but also hazardous environment and are easily affected by many negative factors. Addiction to online game (OG) is a popular negative phenomenon and increasingly be more alarming, especially among pupils and students. Internet and OG are one of the factors affecting their mentality and the formation of their personality and social relationships. Groups of friends (informal groups), gender distinction, living conditions (family, school, surrounding communities), age-based mentality, etc. are important factors affecting students' addiction to online games.

11.2. The results of this study also reflect on the status of OG addiction of students at different frequencies and varying degrees.

11.3. No matter being considered seriously or not, the consequences of OG addiction have negative impacts on students' learning activities, the process of cognitive-emotional development and surrounding relationships.

11.4. Currently, means or methods to reduce OG in schools have very little attention. Therefore, the application of social work intervention with groups is a new approach at the schools where we are conducting research. With this approach, the effectiveness of the initial intervention is successful. All objectives have been achieved at a certain level. Then, it is to propose the model of social work with groups in which social workers in school have important roles to help students reduce their current addicting behavior to OG more practically and effectively.
