10. Summary of the thesis results:
The topic "Issues of Higher Education Reform in Print Journalism" presents the basic contents of higher education reform in Vietnam. The topic demonstrates the necessity of reforming higher education; the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State, as well as practical activities in higher education reform; and the connection between higher education reform and journalism in general, and print journalism in particular.
Based on a survey of three reputable print newspapers, the author assessed the current situation (successes and limitations) of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Giao Duc Thoi Dai Newspaper, and Tien Phong Newspaper, thereby drawing some lessons and proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of information dissemination in print media regarding this activity.
This thesis contributes to strengthening and enriching the theory of information methods in print journalism. Furthermore, it offers solutions for selecting information to develop the topic; the form and art of writing articles in print journalism… It also aims to improve the quality of activities implementing fundamental and comprehensive reforms in the education and training sector, especially in the field of information and communication.
11. Practical applications:
The results of this study contribute to affirming the important and necessary role of journalism in the reform of higher education. Lessons learned and proposed solutions for future print journalism works on the topic of higher education reform are also presented.
This topic will contribute to enriching knowledge about journalism in education and training; serve as a good reference for managers, journalists, teachers, trainees, students, and anyone interested in journalism as well as education and training; and provide a foundation for further research.
12. Future research directions:
The research findings summarized in this thesis suggest the following directions for further research:
- Criticism of higher education reform in print media.
- Issues related to innovation in higher education can be reported online (via electronic newspapers) or broadcast on radio and television.
- Improve the effectiveness of disseminating information about reforms in higher education through mass media.

Subject “Innovation of university education in printed newspaper” presented basic content of innovation university education in Vietnam. The subject proves a necessary request of university education innovation; views and policies of the Party and State as well as practices in university education innovation; Innovation of university education associated with press in general and printed newspaper in particular.
Based on the survey in three prestigious newspapers, the author estimated states (sucess and limitations) of Newspapers as People, Pioneer and Education & Times then draw some experience and propose solutions to improve information effect.
The subject strengthened and enriched theory of information methods in newspaper. On the other hand, the thesis offers choice solutions of information to deploy the topic; forms and writing art for newspaper, etc to improve radical and comprehensive innovation quality of Education and training, especially in information and propaganda.
