- The thesis has described the level of satisfaction with married life: Differences between rural and urban areas in the current urbanization process through measuring the self-assessment of satisfaction with occupation, employment, income, spending, and living standards of people today.

- In addition, the thesis also investigated, identified, and analyzed the factors of gender, age, occupation, and educational level and how they relate to, influence, and impact the assessment of economic satisfaction among urban residents today. It concluded that gender, age, occupation, and educational level play important roles in assessing satisfaction with occupation, employment, income, and spending. Among these, gender and educational level have a strong impact on marital satisfaction among both rural and urban residents today.

- Based on an assessment of income trends and living standards of families, the thesis also analyzes trends and levels of satisfaction with marital life among rural and urban residents in the coming period.

11. Practical applications:

Accurately assessing the level of marital satisfaction among rural and urban populations today is crucial for developing indicators and indices to measure the happiness of individuals and families. To maintain a positive level of satisfaction among rural and urban residents, the Party and State need to implement socio-economic management and development policies that align with the needs and expectations of the people, particularly focusing on family happiness. This significantly contributes to building stable and prosperous families, aligning with the strategic goal of creating happy and fulfilling families.

- Besides, the thesis explores how occupation and education influence on assessing the level of satisfaction of the married life of the urban and rural residents today. In conclusion, occupation and education play an important role to the satisfaction of the married life of urban and rural population today.

Assessing the level of satisfaction in married life: The difference between rural and urban areas in the process of urbanization today contributes to build up indicators, indexes for measuring the level of happiness of individuals and families. In order to maintain the positive level of satisfaction with married life, Party and State should develop a management policy and a socio-economic plan that fits to people's needs and expectations on household economic development. This contributes significantly to build up stable and families in accordance with strategic objective aminoing at prosperous and happy families.
