10. Summary of thesis results:

The study aims to present the current situation of violence against the elderly in An Tuong commune, Tuyen Quang. Within the scope of the study, I myself conducted research and identified issues of awareness of domestic violence; the current situation of violence in terms of form and level of violence; consequences, causes, and factors affecting domestic violence against the elderly.

The research results have shown that domestic violence against the elderly occurs everywhere, regardless of family status or educational level. It is a reality of physical violence, mental violence and economic violence. There are many causes of domestic violence, but there are four main factors: alcohol, beer and stimulants; economic factors; cognitive factors; gender factors; The research also points out a number of measures applied locally to reduce violence against the elderly in the family; at the same time, proposes a number of interventions to:

1. Fundamentally change the awareness of the elderly as well as the community about domestic violence against the elderly;

2. Reduce violence against the elderly in the family;

3. Enhancing the role of the elderly in preventing and combating domestic violence

11. Practical application:

The study of this topic shows the reality of domestic violence against the elderly. In practice, the proposed measures and social work models can be applied to support and improve the prevention of domestic violence in general and domestic violence against the elderly in particular.

Within the scope of the study, I conducted to find out, identify awareness problems of domestic violence; situation in terms of forms of violence, the level of violence; consequences, causes, factors affecting domestic violence with the elderly.The study results show that domestic violence happens to the elderlyeverywhere, regardless of family status, level of position.
