10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis is the first comprehensive monograph on the entire system of relics and artifacts at Dien Tho Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel) based on the excavations in 1999.

The focus is on synthesizing the findings regarding the stratigraphy of the site, the scale of the structures, and the scope of the architectural units within the Dien Tho Palace.

The artifacts found during the excavation at Dien Tho Palace were systematically classified and evaluated. The characteristics of the artifacts were investigated in terms of type, material, patterns, and techniques.

This study aims to comprehensively compare and analyze the characteristics of the relics and artifacts at Dien Tho Palace and other structures within the Hue Imperial Citadel, in order to determine the values ​​of this system of relics in relation to other relics of similar nature and age.

Studying the relics and artifacts at Dien Tho Palace will contribute to a better understanding of the architectural appearance and function of the site.

This thesis can serve as a reference for the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of the value of Dien Tho Palace in particular, and the Hue Imperial Citadel in general, in response to the practical needs of the world heritage site. At the same time, the thesis contributes to clarifying the architectural characteristics and decorative art of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The research findings of this thesis contribute to the study, understanding, and provision of accurate information regarding the Dien Tho Palace, thereby contributing to the understanding of the basic characteristics of architectural units within the Hue Imperial Citadel system in particular and Hue palace architecture in general.

The thesis is the first monograph synthesizing the whole system of relics and relics at Dien Tho Palace (Hue Citadel) through the excavation in 1999.
