Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries, mountains connected to mountains, rivers connected to rivers. Diplomatic relations, economic relations and cultural exchanges between the two countries have been established for a long time. In the border area between Vietnam and China, the Zhuang people in Guangxi and the Nung people in Lang Son province have close relations with each other. In China, the Nung people, along with the Tay people, are considered to be Zhuang ethnic groups.
