Furthermore, the number of people knowledgeable about the cultures of ethnic groups in various localities is dwindling – the Dao ethnic group in Phu Tho province is also facing this situation. Therefore, assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to preserve and promote some traditional cultural values ​​of the Dao ethnic group, in order to enhance basic understanding of traditional culture and apply ethnic policies in the current context, is an important task that all levels and sectors of Phu Tho province are paying attention to and researching.

Identifying and building a tourism brand for Phu Tho based on its culture will truly create a unique and attractive identity for the province. In 2016, Vietnam welcomed ten million international tourists and tens of millions of domestic tourists, with a significant proportion visiting historical sites and participating in heritage festivals. However, the exploitation of cultural heritage values ​​in sustainable tourism development still faces many limitations.
