10. Summary of thesis results:
During the years of implementing the reform policy, under the leadership of the Party, along with reforms in mechanisms, policies, and laws in all fields in general; policies and laws on belief and religion in Vietnam in particular have become increasingly stable, regularly amended and supplemented with a truly open-minded spirit to suit the actual situation and meet the legitimate aspirations and needs of the people. However, alongside the achievements, policies and laws on belief and religion in our country still reveal some limitations and shortcomings.
This research aims to contribute to evaluating and clarifying the achievements and limitations of Vietnam's policies and laws on belief and religion from 1990 to 2015. The research also contributes to affirming the contents of policies and laws that remain valuable, and identifying those that need to be amended, supplemented, and improved to suit the practical situation and meet the requirements of socio-economic development and international integration of the country.
11. Practical application:
Based on an assessment of the achievements and limitations of Vietnam's religious policy from 1990 to 2015, this study aims to help relevant agencies continue to revise, supplement, and improve the policy accordingly.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
During the years of implementing Renovation (Doi Moi) policy, under the lead of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the reforms of institution, policy and law had been carried out in every field of social life. The law and policy on religion and belief in particular has become more stable and regularly modified in order to correspond with the actual state and meet the expectations and legitimate needs of the people. However, besides achievements, the Vietnamese law and policy on religion and belief still shows several limitations and inadequacies.
This research is aimed to evaluate and clarify achievements and limitations of the law and policy on religion and belief of Vietnam from 1990 to 2015. On the one hand, it affirms that the contents of policy and law still remain valuable but on the other hand, it also points out the contents need to be modified and supplemented in order to meet the requirements of socio - economic development and international integration of Vietnam.

This research is aimed to evaluate and clarify achievements and limitations of the law and policy on religion and belief of Vietnam from 1990 to 2015, on that basis of evaluation, the research hopes to help the appropriate authorities in the process of complementing the law and policy on religion and belief.
