The thesis consists of 3 chapters with the following basic contents:

Chapter 1: Some theoretical and practical issues on tourism promotion activities on foreign television channels

In chapter 1 of the thesis, the author focused on clarifying concepts related to the topic such as the concept of tourism, tourism promotion, television, television channels, foreign television channels, introducing the general potential of Vietnam tourism and the role of foreign television in informing foreign countries about the potential and strengths of Vietnamese tourism. These are important and necessary data, serving as the basis for practical research on the thesis topic.

Chapter 2: Current status of Vietnam tourism promotion activities on foreign television channels (Survey of VTV4 and VTC10 channels - NETVIET)

In chapter 2, the author focuses on clarifying the successes in the content and form of programs promoting Vietnamese tourism to foreigners and overseas Vietnamese on VTV4 and VTC10 - NETVIET television channels.

Also in chapter 2, the author pointed out some limitations in Vietnam tourism promotion programs on VTV4 and VTC10 - NETVIET channels in both content and form, as well as pointed out some limitations in terms of facilities and human resources, affecting the quality of Vietnam tourism promotion programs.

Chapter 3: Some issues and solutions, recommendations for promoting Vietnam tourism on foreign television channels.

Based on research and practical surveys, the author boldly proposes a number of solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of programs on VTV4 and VTC10 - NETVIET foreign channels, especially programs promoting Vietnamese tourism. In which, the important solution is to improve the quality of the program staff and increase the ability to reach the target audience. These solutions aim to promote the actual effectiveness of current Vietnamese tourism promotion programs on foreign television.

The research results of the thesis are reference documents for press management units, stations, and television channels in improving the quality of content and form of programs promoting Vietnamese tourism on foreign television.

After completing the thesis, we will continue to research and disseminate solutions to apply in practice the propaganda and promotion of Vietnamese tourism on foreign television channels.
