10. Summary of the thesis results:
This study aims to clarify the public opinion of law students at Hue University regarding same-sex marriage. Since same-sex marriage is not currently recognized in Vietnam, the research focuses on students' public opinion regarding the legalization of same-sex marriage.
The research was conducted in two main areas:
First, to explore the pathways leading to the formation of public opinion among law students at Hue University regarding the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Secondly, we will explore the current state of public opinion among students regarding same-sex marriage. This includes: students' public opinion on homosexuality; on same-sex cohabitation; and on the legalization of same-sex marriage in Vietnam today.
Based on the research findings, the author has proposed solutions for same-sex coexistence; and the rights of homosexuals that need to be recognized, in order to help improve the current legal system.
11. Practical applications:
- The research findings will be a useful resource for lawmakers, providing them with additional student input on the legalization of same-sex marriage in Vietnam.
- The research findings will serve as a basis for the Ministry of Justice to consider adding them to the Law on Marriage and Family in the next revision.

- Researching the factors influencing public opinion regarding the legalization of marriage and family in Vietnam.

The research aims at clarifying the public opinion of students on same-sex marriage. Nowadays, same-sex marriage has not been recognized in Vietnam; Therefore, the research focuses on students' public opinions about the legalization of same-sex marriage.
The research focuses on two main points:
From the findings on Law students' public opinions, the researcher proposes the solutions to same – sex marriage; the recognition of the rights for homosexuals in improving the current legal system.

The study findings will be useful for the law-makers in gaining more student opinions about the legalization of same-sex marriage in Vietnam.
