This thesis analyzes the economic, cultural, educational, and infrastructure conditions in rural areas of Thai Nguyen province before 2008; clarifies the leadership of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee in the process of building new rural areas from 2008 to 2013; and presents some achievements and limitations in the process of building new rural areas in Thai Nguyen province during this period. Based on this, the author draws lessons to serve the work of building new rural areas in Thai Nguyen in the current period.
