The research and investigation process of this study has clarified the role of women in ensuring food safety for families in Hue City in the current context, based on research conducted in Vinh Ninh and Phu Hau wards, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue province. Based on this, solutions and recommendations are proposed to enhance the role of women in ensuring family food safety today. Specifically:
- To explore the role of women in ensuring food safety for their families, as reflected in aspects such as: women's attitudes towards current food hygiene and safety issues, women's behavior in selecting, preparing, and preserving safe food, and sharing knowledge about food hygiene and safety with family members; the difficulties women face and how to overcome them to ensure food hygiene and safety for their families.
- Analyze the factors influencing women's role in ensuring food safety for their families, such as: educational level, living standards, occupation, media, and food safety management issues.
- Propose solutions and recommendations to enhance the role of women in ensuring food safety for their families from various perspectives: from the women themselves, food suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
