- First, the thesis sought to understand the art concept of Nguyen Minh Chau such as the concept of literature and reality, artistic conception of human, the conception of the writer's responsibility, etc. The essential issues of literature were shown in most of his works. Through this one, we affirmed Nguyen Minh Chau was instrumental in the completion of the concept art for the literary period of renovation.

- Secondly, the thesis has shown the kind of character psychology in Nguyen Minh Chau's short stories after 1975, for example: inner monologue, inner dialogue and stream of consciousness. Through this format, we see the torments, inner thoughts of the character with the most extreme or no one is perfect which the life-flow is still ongoing.

- In addition, the thesis also provides the aspects of language and tone of the Nguyen Minh Chau's short stories after 1975. The language in the short stories were the one which is "beating each word out to look for the original meaning".
