10. Summary of thesis results:

The contribution of the thesis is to specifically analyze the current status of tourism development cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand from 1990 to present. The thesis also focuses on pointing out the achievements, and at the same time points out the shortcomings and limitations in the process of tourism development cooperation between the two countries based on the available tourism potentials.

In particular, the thesis presents some lessons learned from Thailand's tourism development that Vietnam's tourism needs to learn from. In addition, the thesis has pointed out the prospect of increasingly good tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand, especially when the two countries are aiming to build the ASEAN Community by the end of 2015. With this event, the cooperation relationship in tourism development between Vietnam and Thailand is increasingly promoted and the achievements in the tourism cooperation process of the two countries are of great significance, contributing to enhancing the position of each country in the region and internationally.

Successfully applying Thailand's tourism development experience to the Vietnam-Thailand tourism development cooperation process will draw lessons to bring the development cooperation of the two countries to a new level.

The successful lessons of Thailand tourism are drawn from the experience of effective and dynamic operations of the entire tourism industry. If applied practically in the development of Vietnam tourism with worthy policies and goals, Vietnam tourism will certainly make great strides and deserve to be the "key economic sector" of the country.

In the process of collecting documents, implementing and completing the thesis, the thesis opens up many new research directions for the author related to the issue of tourism development cooperation between the two countries such as: Prospects for tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand within the framework of the ASEAN Community; Cooperation in developing road tourism between Vietnam and Thailand (prospects and solutions).... These are topics that have both profound scientific and practical significance, contributing to promoting neighborly, friendly and friendly cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding, while bringing the image of Vietnam and Thailand to deeply integrate into the regional and world tourism industry.
