This is the first master's thesis in journalism to research: "The Issue of Digitalization in the Production of News Bulletins at Vietnam Television." This thesis studies the issue of digitalization in general across many countries and specifically in Vietnam when applied to television program production. Therefore, the thesis has covered the trends of digitalization adoption in many different countries, and subsequently drawn many valuable lessons. In Vietnam, the thesis clearly analyzes the favorable conditions, difficulties, and feasibility of digitalization in the production of news bulletins at Vietnam Television.
The thesis confirms the current situation and offers many detailed recommendations contributing to the research problem.
The results of this thesis on digitizing the production of the Vietnam Television News Bulletin according to the Government's Digitalization Roadmap show that there are many difficulties. Therefore, for the Digitalization Roadmap project to be successfully implemented, the cooperation of all ministries, departments, and the entire society is needed.

This is a Journalism Master thesis which studies for the first time “The digitalization process in Vietnam television news production”. The thesis researches on the implementation of digitalization in TV production in Vietnam and other countries. The thesis covers the digitalizing trends in various countries and summarizes the invaluable lessons learned through these practices. In Vietnam, the thesis clearly explains the favorable as well as unfavorable conditions and the practicality of digitalization in Vietnam television news production. The thesis points out the challenges in implementing the government's digitalization plan in Vietnam television news production. Therefore, collaboration among ministries and the society is required to successfully implement the digitalizing plan.
