10. Practical application:

From the results achieved through research on old collective housing areas in general and Trung Tu collective housing area in particular, practical applications on the perception of cultural and historical values ​​will be clearly shaped. In addition, creating for people living not only in old collective housing areas but also those living in the period of 70-80-90 can have respect for the heritage of the past, leading to taking the right steps in preserving, maintaining as well as upgrading or repairing because collective housing has existed for quite a long time leading to an inevitable state of degradation.

11. Further research directions:

From the specific study of the Trung Tu collective housing area and the general overview of the old collective housing areas in Hanoi, in the future, the research direction will shape and follow the path of in-depth assessment, analysis, and comparison of areas related to housing policy issues, issues of preserving cultural and historical values ​​of housing generations through each period, social classes, urban lifestyle, psychology, etc.

From research of the case study of Trung Tu Quarter and generalizing about the old living quarters in Hanoi, in the future, the further research directions will be formed and followed deeply in evaluating, analyzing, comparing fields related to housing policies, issues of housing preservation with the cutural and historical values ​​throught different periods, the social class, urban lifestyle, social psychology…
