Chapter 2: Survey of Southern Vietnamese vocabulary based on published documents from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Chapter 3: Characteristics and changes of Southern Vietnamese vocabulary from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. In terms of scientific significance, the study of Southern Vietnamese vocabulary from the late 19th century to 1945 will contribute to clarifying some things about the changes, developments, and even the disappearance of Southern words compared to previous and subsequent periods, as well as compared to national vocabulary. The thesis will contribute to understanding the historical development of Southern Vietnamese in particular and the history of Vietnamese in general. In terms of practical significance, the thesis will contribute to the study of Southern society during the transition from feudal society to feudal colonial society. From there, contribute to the study of Southern culture - an important territory of the country during a turbulent period of social history of our country.

The Thesis contributes to research the historical development of the Vietnamese words of the South and the Vietnamese words in general. Practical significance, the thesis will contribute to study the South Vietnam society at the time of the transition from feudal society to the feudal colonial society. From which, the thesis contributed to research the South Vietnam cultural - the important regions of our country in the stage of social history.
