- Besides the introduction, conclusion, and appendix, the thesis is divided into three chapters:
Chapter 1: Theoretical basis for studying the Southern Vietnamese language from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Chapter 2: Survey of Southern Vietnamese vocabulary based on published materials from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Chapter 3: Characteristics and changes in Southern Vietnamese vocabulary from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Scientifically, studying Southern Vietnamese vocabulary from the late 19th century to 1945 will contribute to clarifying some aspects of the changes, development, and even the disappearance of Southern Vietnamese vocabulary compared to previous and subsequent periods, as well as compared to the national vocabulary. The thesis will contribute to understanding the historical development of the Southern Vietnamese language in particular and the history of the Vietnamese language in general. Practically, the thesis will contribute to the study of Southern Vietnamese society during the transitional period from feudal society to colonial-feudal society. This contributes to the study of Southern Vietnamese culture – an important region of the country during a period of significant socio-historical upheaval.

Besides the Open part, Conclusion and Appendix, the Thesis is divided into three chapters: Chapter 1: Rationale of the study Vietnamese words of the South from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century Chapter 2: Survey Vietnamese words of the South on material had published from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century Chapter 3: Characteristics and variation of Vietnamese words of the South from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century Meaning of science, the study Vietnamese words of the South from the late nineteenth century to 1945 will contribute to clarify some things about the change, development, including the loss of Vietnamese words of the South that compared to the previous period and then, as compared to the entire population words. The Thesis contributes to research the historical development of the Vietnamese words of the South and the Vietnamese words in general. Practical significance, the thesis will contribute to study the South Vietnam society at the time of the transition from feudal society to the feudal colonial society. From which, the thesis contributed to research the South Vietnam cultural - the important regions of our country in the stage of social history.
