If approaching a literary work according to genre and theme is too familiar in literary research, then approaching it from an eco-critical perspective is quite new and has not received much attention from many scholars, especially in Vietnam. Researching from an eco-critical perspective will contribute to adding a more diverse interdisciplinary perspective when we put a literary work in relation to natural issues to see the relationship and role of literature and art with the ecological environment. From there, we will have a more complete and comprehensive view of the content and artistic value of the work.

Topic“Ecological Ambiguity in Life of Pi (Yann Martel)”delve into the relationship between humans and nature.
