This research thesis clarifies the current situation of domestic violence and the difficulties faced by social workers in assisting women who have experienced domestic violence in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. This thesis is researched to clarify the domestic violence and the difficulties that social workers have in supporting women who are affected by family violence in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. Contemporaneously, this thesis presents clearly about the techniques that the researchers use their knowledge and skills obtained from University for real situations in life in order to make a personal social work process, including guiding and assisting women in domestic violence in the ward. On that basis, they make policies, including connecting with relevant agencies, implementing initial assistance and then supporting solutions to help women reduce or overcome difficulties in daily life from material, mental, health care to restore the functioning of their social functions.
