Currently, research on the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents in Vietnam is still quite new, especially for children in the middle school age. The topic is important in building a theoretical basis related to the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents, viewed from the perspective of the grandchildren. The thesis contributes to supplementing reference materials for improving the quality of the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents.

If conditions and time permit, we will expand the scope of the study to further clarify the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents at older ages to have a broader view of this intergenerational relationship across different ages. At the same time, verify the reliability, validity and comprehensive adaptation of the scale in the context of Vietnamese culture.
