10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on an overview of the Israel-Palestine conflict prior to 2009, which highlighted the underlying causes of the conflict, most importantly territorial disputes, this thesis clarifies the US strategy and policy regarding this issue; it also addresses the involvement of several other major factors in the Middle East peace process.

Aiming to illustrate the role of the United States in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this thesis clarifies the adjustments in US policy under the administrations of President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump, highlighting the differences between these two periods; and the current state of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from 2009 to the present.

The thesis analyzed and evaluated the strategy, policy adjustments, measures, and methods of the US involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from 2009 to the present, noting that despite its leading role in international efforts to resolve the conflict, no breakthroughs have been achieved. Based on this, it predicted the prospects of the situation, emphasizing the low likelihood of achieving a comprehensive peaceful solution in the short term; and also raised some implications for Vietnam.

On summarising the Israel-Palestine conflict in the period before 2009, pointing out basic causes leading to the conflict, most importantly is the struggle for land, the thesis has clarified the strategy and policies of US government during that time, as well as the involvement of other important actors in the peace process in the Middle East.

In order to point out US's role in resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict, the thesis has clarified major differences in US policies under Barack Obama and Donald Trump's administrations related to the Israel-Palestine conflict during the 2009-current period of time; remarkable events of the conflict.

The thesis contains analysis and assessments on strategy, policy adjustments of the US, as well as the country's acts of involvement into the Israel-Palestine conflict from 2009 to present, clarifying that while taking a leading role for international efforts to settle the conflict, the US has not made any major breakthrough in the matter; giving some prediction for the time to come, in which no comprehensive solution can be achieved in the near future; specifying some implications for Vietnam.
