Based on an overview of the Israel-Palestine conflict in the period before 2009, which clearly states the underlying causes of the conflict, most importantly the territorial dispute, the thesis has clarified the US strategy and policy on this issue; besides, it has also mentioned the participation of a number of other major factors in the peace process in the Middle East.

In order to point out the role of the US in resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict, the thesis clarifies the adjustment of US policy under the administrations of President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump, highlighting the differences between these two periods; the current situation of the Israel-Palestine conflict in the period 2009-present.

The thesis analyzed and evaluated the strategy, policy adjustments, measures, and ways the US has participated in the Israel-Palestine conflict since 2009, stating that despite its leading role in international efforts to resolve the conflict, there has been no breakthrough; on that basis, it forecasts the prospects of the situation, emphasizing that it is unlikely to achieve a comprehensive peace solution in the near future; and at the same time, it points out some implications for Vietnam.
