Summary of thesis results: Through studying the influence of Buddhism on the worship of the tutelary deity in Thuong village, Phu Luu commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi, the thesis has shown the influence of Buddhism on the beliefs of the local people, and its manifestations through the basis and content, concepts of spiritual life, worship customs and traditions, and festivals of worshiping the tutelary deity.
