Introduction:Due to the realities of the difficulties faced by healthcare workers, including overcrowding, violence within the medical field, and the level of toxicity, as well as the difficulties experienced by healthcare workers at Ha Dong General Hospital regarding work stress and mental well-being, I have chosen the research topic "..."The role of social workers in supporting healthcare staff at Ha Dong General Hospital to reduce stress.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state of stress among healthcare workers at Ha Dong General Hospital, both theoretically and practically. Based on this, the aim is to enhance the role of social workers in supporting stress reduction for healthcare staff at Ha Dong General Hospital. I have chosen four main research methods: document analysis, questionnaire survey, case study, and group social work.
The thesis is divided into three specific chapters as follows:
Chapter 1 covers conceptual tools; the concept of needs, the concept of stress, the concept of healthcare professionals, the concept of social work in healthcare, the concept of social workers in healthcare, and the concept of hospitals. Applied theories are also discussed.
In Chapter 2: The current situation of healthcare workers at Ha Dong General Hospital
Chapter 2 examines the stress situation among healthcare workers at Ha Dong General Hospital using a questionnaire-based survey tool, exploring their knowledge of stress, stress levels, manifestations, causes, and coping mechanisms.
Chapter 3: The role of social workers in reducing stress for healthcare staff at Ha Dong General Hospital.
Chapter 3 highlighted the need for stress reduction support for healthcare workers and emphasized the role of social work in hospitals, with its functions and responsibilities including communication, support for patients and their families facing difficulties, support for healthcare staff, and training. Chapter 3 also examines the role of social work in stress reduction through recreational activities, extracurricular activities, counseling for stressed healthcare workers, and training. Through this, the advantages and disadvantages of the support process are identified, and solutions are proposed to enhance the role of social workers in effectively reducing stress.
Thus, in the topicThis study examines the role of social workers in supporting healthcare staff at Ha Dong General Hospital in reducing stress. The author presents the reality of stress and the role of social workers in stress management for healthcare workers – a group largely overlooked in previous research. These studies focus primarily on patients and their families, inadvertently neglecting the fact that healthcare workers themselves are also a group in need of support.

The purpose is about studying the stressful situation of medical staff in Ha Dong General Hospital in terms of theory and practice. On that basis, the role of social workers in assisting for the stress reduction for health workers in Ha Dong General Hospital is enhanced. There are 4 key methods which are applied, specifically document analysis, questionnaire survey, case study and group social work

In chapter 1, the author mentions tool concepts; demand concept, stress concept, medical staff concept, social work in health concept, hospital concept and applied theories

In chapter 2, through the questionnaire, the author surveys the knowledge about stress, stress level, symptoms, causes and how to respond to stress of staff in Ha Dong General Hospital, thereby understanding the stress situation of Ha Dong General Hospital's health workers.
Chapter 3: The role of social workers in "stress" reduction for health workers in Ha Dong General Hospital
Chapter 3 points out the need to reduce stress of health workers, thereby highlighting the role of social work in the hospital with the functions of communication, patients and family members with difficult circumstances support, health workers assistance, training and fostering. In Chapter 3, it is also possible to recognize the role of supporting health workers to reduce stress with entertainment activities, extracurricular activities, advising and training stressed health workers. Based on that, it is easy to see the advantages and disadvantages in the process of assistance, thus prejudice solutions to enhance the role of social workers to reduce stress in the effective way.
Whereby, in the topic:The role of social workers in assisting health workers in Ha Dong General Hospital reduces "stress", the author indicates the stress situation and the role of social workers in stress support for health workers, who are the objects that most research topics have not mentioned. It is due to the fact that the other topics only focus on patients and their family members but not on health workers, who also need support.
