Based on the study of the correlation between Intelligence and academic scores of 7th grade students at Dong Xuan Secondary School, Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province. The results of the intelligence survey showed that the IQ of the group of students participating in the study was at the average level (96.3 ± 14.4), in which the student with the highest IQ was 130 (1 student, accounting for 1.7%), the student with the lowest was 58 (1 student, accounting for 1.7%). The survey of students' academic results showed that the average score of the first semester of the group of students participating in the study was 6.86 points.

Surveying the academic scores of 59 students, there were 34 students with good academic performance, accounting for 57.7%. There were 7 excellent students, accounting for 11.8%. There were 16 average students, accounting for 27.1%. There were only 2 students with Weak performance, accounting for 3.4%. Of which, the student with the lowest overall score was 4.30 points (2 students accounting for 3.4%); the student with the highest average score was 8.30 points (2 students accounting for 3.4%).

The results of the survey on the correlation between intelligence quotient and academic scores of students showed that academic scores were closely related to their IQ (r=0.791**), the group of excellent students had significantly higher IQs than the group of average students. The higher the academic scores of students, the higher their IQs and vice versa.

The intelligence of the group of students participating in the study was not related to gender but correlated with the area of residence, that is, students in rural areas with difficult conditions had worse academic results than students in towns. Regarding whether the occupation of parents is related to academic scores or not, we have not yet concluded, because the number of parents is unevenly distributed in different occupations.

The survey of students' learning results showed that the average score of the first semester was 6.86 points.

After studying the learning score of 59 students, there are 34 students with good capacity, accounting for 57.7%. There are 7 excellent students, accounting for 11.8%. There are 16 average students, accounting for 27.1%. The number of below average students is only 2, accounting for 3.4%. Student who has the lowest score is 4.3 and the highest is 8.3 (2 students 3.4%).

The score of the survey shows that there is a close relationship between learning result and IQ index of a student (r=0.791**), excellent students have significantly higher IQ index than average students. The higher the IQ index, the higher the learning result and vice versa.

The intelligence of the group of students involved in the study was not related to sex but was correlated with the area of residence, ie rural pupils, difficult conditions have worse learning outcomes than those studied. born in the town. For a parent's career is about to score or not, we have not concluded yet, because the number of parents is unevenly distributed in the occupations.
