10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis analyzes and highlights the current state of India's relations with ASEAN and Vietnam within the framework of its "Look East policy" from 1991 to 2014. From this, it draws conclusions about the influence of India-ASEAN relations on ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific region through the presence of major powers and the regional security structure. Furthermore, the thesis updates the current state of India's relations with ASEAN since India upgraded its "Look East policy" to "Act East" and assesses the impact of this relationship on the regional security structure within the US-China-India triangle.
11. Practical applications:
This study provides information on the current state and impact of India's relationship with ASEAN on ASEAN countries and the Asia-Pacific regional situation, particularly in the new international context, and offers recommendations for the future development of these relations.
12. Future research directions:
Continue to upgrade the research direction to assess the new developments from "Eastward Policy" to "Eastward Action" in terms of policy content as well as bilateral relations.
