- Clarifying theoretical issues on livelihoods, agriculture, rural areas and farmers, while applying the theory of sustainable livelihood framework and cultural ecology theory to study and explain issues on traditional livelihoods and changes in farmers' livelihoods in the current period of industrialization and modernization of rural agriculture.
- From the analysis and assessment of the impacts of livelihood changes on farmers, the author has pointed out the existing problems which are also the current challenges for the locality, and at the same time proposed some solutions to guide the issue of sustainable livelihood development of farmers in the coastal area of Hau Loc, Thanh Hoa.
11. Practical application:
The thesis provides a scientific basis for research on livelihoods in coastal rural areas.
