- Survey and analyze in the most detailed way the phonetic errors of Thai students when speaking Vietnamese, based on the theoretical system of modern error analysis. From there, find the root cause of the error process of Thai students in the process of language acquisition.

- Through actual surveys, the mistakes that Thai students often make include: mistakes in tones, mistakes in initial consonants, mistakes in rhymes (including intermediate sounds, main sounds and final sounds). Regarding tones, Thai students mainly cannot pronounce falling and rising tones.

- Propose solutions to overcome pronunciation errors of Thai students in the language acquisition process.
