The thesis has solved and clarified some main issues about space, artistic time in the structure of the novel, artistic viewpoint, and experiences of Modiano's space. From there, we have deeply studied the spatial polarity in Modiano's works, analyzed the spatial polarity and the distance between people from those spatial sketches. Finally, there are moments when people face themselves through the spatial element, aiming for balance in each character.

11. Practical application:

By conducting this research, we hope to contribute research values ​​on space in the novels of the talented novelist who won the 2014 Nobel Prize in Literature - Patrick Modiano. Deeply studying a fundamental aspect of poetics - space in novels has scientific significance, serving practically for teaching foreign literature. Moreover, the literary values ​​of the Nobel Prize-winning author need to be carefully studied, contributing to explaining the topics reflecting on human life in the contemporary industrialized society.
