In conducting this research, we hope to contribute valuable insights into the study of space in the novels of the talented novelist and 2014 Nobel Prize winner in Literature, Patrick Modiano. A deeper understanding of a fundamental aspect of poetics – space in novels – has scientific significance and serves as a practical tool for teaching foreign literature. Furthermore, the literary values ​​of this Nobel laureate deserve thorough study, contributing to the interpretation of themes reflecting human life within contemporary industrialized societies.

Since then, we have studied in depth the spatial opposition in Modiano's work, analyzing the spatial opposition and the distance between people from those spatial sketches. Finally, these are the moments when people face themselves through the space element, towards the balance of each character.

Doing this research, we hope to contribute a valuable research about spatial in Patrick Modiano's novel- The talented novel writer who has achieved Nobel Prize for Literature in 2014. The in-depth study of a fundamental aspect of poetry - the space in novel scientific has signification, practical support in teaching foreign literature. Moreover, the literary values ​​​​of the Nobel laureate need to be studied carefully, contributing to explain the topics reflecting on human lives in the contemporary industrialized society.
