Based on the established theoretical framework, this research project surveys the current state of content and format of information about functional foods in Vietnamese online newspapers. It examines the successes and limitations of newspapers in providing information about functional foods to the public, and then proposes solutions and recommendations to improve the quality and methods of disseminating information about functional foods in Vietnamese online newspapers.

12. Practical applications:

The research findings have potential applications in health communication and education organizations, and in developing information for online newspapers in the future, especially for those working in communication on this issue. The research results suggest that this study could lead to further research directions such as improving methods and approaches for disseminating information about functional foods between medical and pharmaceutical agencies and the press, enabling the press to provide accurate and timely information, and expanding the research to other media platforms such as print, radio, and television.

12. Practical applicability, if any: Research results are capable of applying in various media organizations and health education activities, especially for those who work on medical communication. From the research results, this study can be further developed by focusing more on improving the quality of the flow of information on dietary supplements between medical and pharmaceutical agencies and press agencies so that the press agencies can secure the most accurate and up-to-date information. Another research direction is to expand the current research to other types of newspapers such as print newspapers, radio and television.
