10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis conducts research on the theoretical framework of rural tourism in the world and in Vietnam. The theoretical basis presents arguments related to: the concept of rural tourism, the history of research on the issue, and the theoretical basis for the development of rural tourism., lThe history of the formation and development of rural tourism in the world and in Vietnam.

Based on the application of theoretical frameworks on rural tourism development, this thesis assesses the tourism potential.countrysidecurrently exists in An Giang province.The thesis also evaluated theThe current state of development of rural tourism.through the process ofConduct statistical surveys and gather feedback from tourists, the community, local authorities, and the tourism industry of An Giang province.In addition, the thesis also analyzes nAchievements and challenges in the current process of implementing rural tourism.

Based on the current situation, this thesis presents solutions and development directions for rural tourism in An Giang province in the coming years. The goal is to help rural residents improve their quality of life, increase their income, alleviate poverty, successfully restructure the economy, and diversify tourism types in An Giang province in particular and Vietnam in general.

11. Practical applications:

Based on the practical model of rural tourism development in An Giang.Lessons learned regarding the identification of stages in the rural tourism development cycle, development methods, and the impacts of rural tourism on community life were studied.toapplicationThis will be used for other rural areas with tourism potential in Vietnam in the future.

12. Future research directions:

With the goal of helping rural communities and developing Vietnamese tourism in a sustainable direction, we will continue to research and apply scientific knowledge in tourism to find a type of tourism that meets the following objectives: environmental protection, sustainable tourism development, and creating additional livelihoods for rural communities.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

This thesis includes researches on the theoretical systems of rural tourism in Vietnam and all over the world. The rationale for this study comes from the conceptions related to: the definition of rural tourism, the history of research, the rationale for developing rural tourism, the formation and development of rural tourism in Vietnam and all over the world.

Based on the application of theoritical system to develop rural tourism, the paper states the contemporary potential for tourism in An Giang Province, the facts about the expansion of rural tourism, with statistics and surveys of tourists, public opinion, local authority in the province, and the achievement as well as the disadvantages during this development process.

From the facts collected, the paper points out the solution and direction to develop rural tourism in An Giang in the future. This aims to help the local people to improve their lives, boost their income, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, successfully transform the economic system and diversify forms of tourism in An Giang Province in particular and Vietnam in general.

12. Practical applicability:

From the rational model of developing rural tourism in An Giang, the experience of determining the steps in the rural tourism development procedures, the methods to develop, and the infulences of rural tourism on community's lives,... are studied in order to be applied into other potential areas in Vietnam in the future.

13. Further research directions:

With the purpose of helping rural community and fostering Vietnam tourism's sustainable development. Continue to study, apply the scientific knowledge in the field of tourism to find out the form of tourism that meets the requirements: protecting environment, sustainably developing tourism and providing more ways to make a living for rural community.
