10. Summary of thesis results:

Communication is one of the methods of social work. No matter what the form of organization is, communication is still a key factor. Communication is to the organization as the bloodline is to the people. Communication with the group of women who suffer from domestic violence is an activity aimed at supporting women to a better life. Communication is an activity that provides important and necessary information to women, the types of violence they will encounter, cultivating necessary life skills, ways to prevent specific types of violence, understanding of legal documents, support programs for them to increase their living capacity to help them balance their psychology and have a more positive outlook on life.

Domestic violence does not happen randomly, it comes from conflicts, needs, desires, ambitions of individuals that are not achieved or imbalance in family relationships, families do not find common goals, life perspectives... leading to conflicts, originating from those different causes, violence will occur in a certain process. Depending on the level of conflict, different forms of violence will arise. When violence occurs, women are always inhibited, in crisis, physically painful, mentally damaged or have their personality, dignity, trust trampled, sexually abused... Especially for the group of women who are physically abused, the need to be rescued, the need to escape the pain of beatings and the need to share, sympathize, and receive information is extremely important.

Communication originates from the desire to receive information from media subjects and messages to each group of subjects in society. Communication provides all subjects with basic knowledge, skills to meet specific needs and directs people to better activities and life purposes.

Communication with women who are victims of domestic violence not only meets the urgent need for information but also helps women share and is a bridge to bring women closer to the state's policy and legal system as well as community support activities of organizations.

The way to bring information to the group of women who are victims of domestic violence is to communicate with that group of women who are victims of domestic violence. In fact, communication about women who are victims of domestic violence is carried out more widely and more than communication with the group of women who are victims of violence. It can be seen that this activity is continuous but not sustainable, the information brought to women who are victims of domestic violence is limited and interrupted in the mass media, magazines, newspapers. Therefore, implementing parallel communication about women who are victims of domestic violence and communication with the group of women who are victims of domestic violence will increase the effectiveness of the process of reducing violence as well as eliminating or increasing certain capacity and knowledge for women who are victims of domestic violence.

11. Practical application:

Present the effects, methods and communication activities that impact women who are victims of domestic violence.

The research results aim to build support activities of NVCTXH for the community and activities based on support, guidance and propaganda to thoroughly solve and bring communication closer to the target group of women who are victims of domestic violence.

The results contributed to helping the Women's Union of Van Dinh Town as well as the officers in charge of information and communication and experts to develop, supplement and complete effective programs for women who are victims of domestic violence. For me, through research, I have a deeper understanding of the importance of communication for women who are victims of domestic violence, which needs to go from emotional awareness, building messages that are close to useful and positive knowledge towards sustainable, long-term and effective impacts.

12. Further research directions:

Successful research helps apply specific practical solutions into real life to improve capacity, awareness and communication effectiveness for women who suffer from domestic violence in particular and all women living in the area in general.
