Romanticism is a literary movement of immense importance in the development of literature, and it has been particularly successful in creating ideal character portrayals. Through this thesis, we research and provide a more comprehensive view of romantic literature, its formation, development, contributions in terms of content and artistry, as well as the values ​​that this literary movement brings.

- In particular, this thesis delves into the study of the beauty of the ideal character in Romantic literature, specifically examined through several novels by V. Hugo.
