The thesis entitled: “Research on the Development of Community Tourism in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Thanh Hoa” is a research project on community tourism linked to nature conservation, culture, and community development in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Thanh Hoa. The results achieved within the scope and location of this thesis are as follows:

This area has great potential for developing community-based tourism, evidenced by its diverse natural ecosystem, beautiful scenery, unique and rich culture, relatively long tourist season, convenient location for travel, and connectivity with other tourist destinations such as Giang Mo village, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh, Cuc Phuong National Park, and Ninh Binh. The Pu Luong Nature Reserve can host many community-based tourism activities, integrating ecotourism into community-based tourism routes. In recent years, the number of tourists visiting Pu Luong Nature Reserve has increased significantly. However, tourism-related economic activities here are not yet clearly defined, and sightseeing activities are largely spontaneous. The reserve's management board has not proactively organized services to welcome tourists. Therefore, orienting the development of tourism in general, and community-based tourism in particular, is essential for Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

To contribute to guiding the planning of community-based tourism development in the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, within the framework of this thesis, the author also boldly proposes several solutions to help develop community-based tourism, as well as detailed directions to ensure that community-based tourism operates sustainably and effectively. This will contribute to improving the quality of life for local people.

Thesis: "Research on community based-tourism development in the Pu Luong Natural Reserve, Thanh Hoa province" is the work on community-based tourism related to natural, cultural conservation and community development in Pu Luong Natural Reserve, Thanh Hoa province. In general, the result of the thesis is as follows:

Pu Luong Natural Reserve is located in an area where has potential for community-based tourism development, especially natural ecological diversity, beautiful landscapes, an unique culture, year-long tourism activities. It is linked to other tourism destinations like the Giang Mo, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh, Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh. At Pu Luong Natural Reserve, many community-based tourism activities can be held, combining with eco-tourism. In recent years, the number of tourists coming to the Pu Luong Natural Reserve has increased more than the previous years. However, the tourism economic activities have not clearly organized, tourism activities are only spontaneous. Management Board has not actively organized the tourism services to welcome tourists. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and organize the tourist-oriented development and the community-based tourism for Pu Luong Natural Reserve.

In this thesis, the author also strongly suggests some solutions to help the community-based tourism development for Pu Luong Natural Reserve, as well as sustainable tourism development. Thereby, it helps contribute to improving the quality of life of local people.
