- Based on the analysis of various types of documents, the thesis has initially systematically analyzed the changes in the alliance relationship between the US and the Philippines from 1992 to the present. From there, the thesis assesses the impacts on the two countries as well as the region, including Vietnam. At the same time, the thesis assesses the trend in the alliance relationship between the two countries in the coming time.

- In the context of the increasingly complex developments in the sovereignty dispute in the East Sea, studying the changes in the relationship between the US and the Philippines plays an important role in providing scientific arguments for researchers and policy makers in assessing the changing trends of the regional political and security situation.

11. Practical application:

The thesis is a systematic reference for teaching and research on international relations in general and US-Philippines relations in particular.

After completing the thesis, the author will continue to research the US-Philippines alliance at a more in-depth and comprehensive level at a higher level of training such as a doctoral degree.
