The thesis has focused on building a theoretical basis for the potential-oriented technology market and the demand-oriented technology market, the difference between these two markets, thereby affirming that in order to exploit the technology market to serve the goal of promoting socio-economic development, it is necessary to choose a demand-oriented approach, specifically to build and develop a demand-oriented technology market. In addition, it has analyzed and clarified the current status of the technology market in Hai Phong in terms of technology goods, supply and demand for technology; intermediary organizations, brokers and institutions for the operation of the technology market. On that basis, the thesis has drawn out the shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome to develop the demand-oriented technology market. The thesis also devotes an appropriate amount of space to presenting the experience of developing the technology market of a number of countries and localities in the country so that it can be referred to and applied to the specific conditions of Hai Phong city. From the practical experience of Hai Phong, the thesis has proposed a number of solutions to develop the technology market in Hai Phong in a demand-oriented manner. These are solutions that affect the supply and demand of technology, innovate the operations of intermediary institutions, the most important of which is to improve and innovate the operations of the Hai Phong Technology and Equipment Exchange - the center of the technology market in Hai Phong today.

Thesis has focused on building the theoretical foundation of market technology potential -oriented and market technology demand-oriented, the difference between the two markets from which go to the confirmation of the technology market exploitation to serve the objective in order to promote economic - social development. It is needed to choose the approach from demand direction, especially to build and develop market technology demand-oriented.

Thesis analyzed, clarifying the status of the technology market in Haiphong on commodity items such as technology goods, the technology supply and demand; intermediary organizations, brokers and institutions for operation of technology market.

On this basis, restrictions should be overcome to develop market demand-oriented technology

Thesis allotted a suitable space to present experience in developing technology markets of some countries and some provinces in the country from which can refer to, apply to the specific conditions of the city of Haiphong.

From practical experience of Haiphong, the thesis has proposed some solutions to develop technology markets in Haiphong under oriented demand.

Those solutions affect supply and demand for technology, innovation activities of intermediary institutions, the most important of which is to consolidate and improve the operation of the Hai Phong Technology Equipment and Stock Exchange - the center of the technology market in Haiphong today.
