- The research results of this thesis contribute to clarifying the foundations and content of Ho Chi Minh's motto "adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining the unchanging." This motto not only inherits from the fine traditional cultural values of the nation and the cultural essence of East and West, ancient and modern, but also inherits the quintessential points of Marxism-Leninism and the subjective elements of Ho Chi Minh. The "unchanging" in Ho Chi Minh's thought includes: National independence; People's freedom and happiness; The people are masters and rulers. These are values that cannot be changed, serving as strategies, goals, and ideals. The "unchanging"ever-changing”For Ho Chi Minh, it wasn't just about "everything changing," but also about the flexible application of strategies, paths, methods, and routes appropriate to each specific historical circumstance, in order to most effectively achieve goals and strategies, and to maintain the fixed principles that had been established.
- This thesis contributes to clarifying the practical guiding value of the principle "adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining core principles" for the Vietnamese revolution (1945-1969).

The guideline is recognized as the inheritance of Vietnam's traditional cultural values, western and eastern cultural essence in the present and the past, and Marxism – Leninism's essences and Ho Chi Minh's subjective factors. According to Ho Chi Minh thought, “having a calm state of mind” consists of national independence; people's freedom and happiness; people's right to be owner and master. They are unchanged values, strategy, objective and ideal. “unexpected changes” refers to not only "various changes", but also flexible use of strategies, methods and roadmaps to suit each specific historical circumstance in order to effectively implement the strategy to maintain this calm state of mind.
