1. Anti-American poetry has contributed significantly to reflecting a historical period full of hardships, challenges but also very heroic of the nation. Generations of poets were present together in the fierce battle against the US. Joining the general flow of poetry during the anti-American resistance period, Pham Tien Duat, Huu Thinh, Nguyen Duc Mau were writers who matured in that environment. It was this environment that created the conditions for the talents of the three poets - soldiers to develop to the fullest extent of their creativity, together with their life experiences, to produce poems that were authentic and full of emotions.

2. War is always a hot topic in poetry. Researching the topic of war in poetry during the anti-American resistance war is to see the cruelty of the unjust war that the American imperialists caused to our country and people, and at the same time to see the enormous sacrifices and losses that our army and people made to gain independence and freedom.
