Accordingly, the thesis clarifies the concept and characteristics of tourism activities, the economic, political, cultural, social, and environmental significance of tourism activities, factors affecting tourism activities, the concept and characteristics of state management of tourism activities, the content of state management of tourism activities by provincial governments, and the requirements for state management of tourism activities in Vietnam today.
