- Based on the established theoretical framework, this thesis surveys and evaluates the current state of television viewing habits among Hanoi residents regarding the Voice of Vietnam Television (VOVTV). The thesis compiles statistics on viewing frequency, viewing time, and some of the public's favorite programs. The results of public feedback surveys and in-depth interviews with experts serve as the basis for proposing solutions.
Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis offers specific proposals and recommendations for the channel's leadership. 11. Summary of findings (of the thesis):
- Follow-up to the research oriented by the thesis title, based on theoretical rationale of the journalism school, the thesis has analyzed, synthetized, interpreted and built a theoretical basis in relation to the research topic - that is the role of public research and public television research in terms of the media.
- On the basis of the theoretical developed issues, the thesis has examined and evaluated current situations in the view of the public television in Hanoi towards the TV channel of the Voice Of Vietnam. The thesis has analyzed the frequency of view, time available of view as well as some public favorite programs. The findings of the feedback survey from the public and in-depth interviews to experts are the basics for proposals and solutions.
- From the theoretical and practical basics, which have been researched and investigated, the thesis has made specific proposals and recommendations to leaders of the channel so as to help them develop strengths and reduce drawbacks. The thesis also shows that the public research should be taken regularly to get an objective evaluation, and to make adjustments in favor of the wishes and aspirations of the public. The findings have contributed to the process of teaching in terms of current media and journalism school.
