- The thesis clarifies the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on independence and autonomy in international relations, the theoretical and practical values of that thought. Thereby, it can be seen that the essence of the issue of independence and autonomy in international relations in Ho Chi Minh's thought is to ensure that independence and autonomy are maintained while still cooperating with the international community, "using the constant to respond to all changes" to be ready to integrate but not to dissolve, the highest goal is to aim for freedom and happiness for the nation. It becomes the core factor to determine the foreign policy method in each period.
