10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Adhering closely to the research axis set by the thesis, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, interpreted, and built a theoretical basis related to the research problem, namely the role and relationship of online newspapers with the issue of international terrorism.

- Based on the established theoretical framework, the thesis surveyed and evaluated the current state of international terrorism information on online newspapers through a survey of three representative newspapers (VnExpress, Tuoitre, and Vietnamnet), clearly identifying strengths and weaknesses, especially the causes of the weaknesses; along with in-depth interviews with reporters and experts, providing a basis for proposing solutions to overcome the weaknesses.

Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis offers specific proposals and recommendations to relevant authorities and media agencies to improve the quality of information on international terrorism in the future. Authorities need to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities, proactively and positively guiding media information; cooperate closely and effectively with national media agencies; enhance the capacity of specialized reporters and journalists; diversify content and improve the format of information delivery… contributing to helping the press in general, and online newspapers in particular, better fulfill their roles and missions in addressing economic, political, cultural, and social issues in our country during the period of comprehensive industrialization, modernization, integration, and development.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings have potential applications in organizing news reporting activities on international terrorism for online news websites.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the results of this research, further research can be conducted to develop policies for editing information related to international terrorism; improving the quality of news articles to better reflect the issue of terrorism.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

- Closely following the research pivot oriented, by the theoretical basis of journalism, the thesis has analyzed, generalized, interpreted and constructed the argument basis for the research, which is a role and relationship between the online press and the international terrorism issues.

- Based on the theoretical basis constructed, the thesis analyzed, evaluated the real situation of international-terrorism information on the online press by surveying three online newspapers (VnExpress, Tuoitre and Vietnamnet) as representatives; and clearly shown strong points and weak points, especially reasons of weak points as well as interviewed closely reporters and experts for the basis of solution proposal for the weaknesses.

- Based on the theoretical and practical basis researched and investigated, the thesis has presented the specific proposal and petition for the appropriate authorities and the press to improve news quality on international terrorism in the future. The appropriate authorities need to have done their best role, responsibility and be active and positive in orienting information for the press; co-operate closely with the national press to promote efficiency; enhance the ability of reporters, journalists in charge; diversify content, improve content delivery and so on to help the press in general and the online newspaper in particular to do better their role, mission on issues related to economy, politics, culture and society in Vietnam in the period forwarding the achievements of industrialization, modernization, integration and development comprehensively.

The thesis' result has practical application in the organization in reporting of digital newspaper regarding the issue of international terrorism.

Based on the results of this research, further research such as editorial policies of information regarding international terrorism; promotion of information and article quality to better convey information concerning terrorist issue.
