10. Summary of thesis results:

- Closely following the research axis oriented by the topic, from the theoretical basis of journalism, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, interpreted and built a theoretical basis related to the research problem, which is the role and relationship of electronic newspapers with the issue of international terrorism.

- Based on the theoretical issues that have been developed, the thesis has surveyed and evaluated the current status of international terrorism information on electronic newspapers through a survey of 03 representative newspapers (VnExpress, Tuoitre and Vietnamnet), clearly indicating the advantages and disadvantages, especially the causes of the disadvantages; along with in-depth interviews with reporters and experts, as a basis for proposing solutions to overcome the disadvantages.

- Based on the theoretical and practical bases that have been researched and surveyed, the thesis makes specific proposals and recommendations to functional agencies and press agencies to improve the quality of information on international terrorism in the coming time. Functional agencies need to perform well their roles, responsibilities, be proactive and active in orienting press information; Cooperate closely and promote the effectiveness of national press agencies; Improve the capacity of specialized reporters and journalists; Diversify content, improve the form of transmission... contributing to helping the press in general and electronic newspapers in particular better perform their roles and missions in the face of issues related to economics, politics, culture and society in our country during the period of comprehensively promoting industrialization, modernization, integration and development.

11. Practical application:

The research results can be applied in organizing news activities of electronic newspapers on the issue of international terrorism.

12. Further research directions:

From the results of this study, it is possible to develop further research directions in proposing editorial policies for information related to international terrorism; improving the quality of news and articles to better reflect the issue of terrorism.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

- Closely following the research pivot oriented, by the theoretical basis of journalism, the thesis has analyzed, generalized, interpreted and constructed the argument basis for the research, which is a role and relationship between the online press and the international terrorism issues.

- Based on the theoretical basis constructed, the thesis analyzed, evaluated the real situation of international-terrorism information on the online press by surveying three online newspapers (VnExpress, Tuoitre and Vietnamnet) as representatives; and clearly shown strong points and weak points, especially reasons of weak points as well as interviewed closely reporters and experts for the basis of solution proposal for the weaknesses.

- Based on the theoretical and practical basis researched and investigated, the thesis has presented the specific proposal and petition for the appropriate authorities and the press to improve news quality on international terrorism in the future. The appropriate authorities need to have done their best role, responsibility and be active and positive in orienting information for the press; co-operate closely with the national press to promote efficiency; enhance the ability of reporters, journalists in charge; diversify content, improve content delivery and so on to help the press in general and the online newspaper in particular to do better their role, mission on issues related to economy, politics, culture and society in Vietnam in the period forwarding the achievements of industrialization, modernization, integration and development comprehensively.

The thesis' result has practical application in the organization in reporting of digital newspaper regarding the issue of international terrorism.

12. Further research directions, if any:

Based on the results of this research, further research such as editorial policies of information regarding international terrorism; promotion of information and article quality to better convey information concerning terrorist issue.
