10. Summary of the thesis results:
- Adhering closely to the research topic's guiding principles, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, interpreted, and built a theoretical framework related to the research problem, namely the role of online newspapers in disseminating information on the prevention and control of infectious diseases; and the relationship between media organizations and the health sector, including the field of preventive medicine.
- Based on the established theoretical framework, the thesis surveyed and evaluated the current state of information dissemination on infectious disease prevention and control on three online newspapers: suckhoedoisong.vn, suckhoemoitruong.com.vn, and dantri.com… clearly identifying strengths and weaknesses, especially the causes of the weaknesses; along with surveying public feedback and conducting in-depth interviews with experts, providing a basis for proposing appropriate solutions and recommendations.
Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis offers specific proposals and recommendations for media organizations regarding content development and improving the quality of articles when reporting on infectious diseases in the future. Media organizations need to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities, proactively and actively providing information on the prevention and control of infectious diseases; enhance the capacity of specialized reporters and journalists; diversify content and improve the format of information delivery; and make a practical contribution to helping the press in general, and print and online media in particular, better fulfill their roles and missions in addressing health-related issues, thereby further improving the quality of healthcare and public health protection. The research results also contribute to the current process of communication work, especially communication in the field of healthcare.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings have potential applications in organizing health communication and education activities, and in developing informational content for online newspapers in the future.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results of this study, further research directions can be developed, such as improving methods and approaches for providing information on infectious disease prevention and control between health agencies and the press, enabling the press to disseminate information quickly and accurately; and expanding the research to other media types such as print, radio, and television.

10. Thesis result summary:
- Closely following the research content of the determined topic, based on the foundation of journalism theory, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, interpreted and constructed the theoretical foundation regarding the research topic, which is the role of digital newspaper in reporting information regarding the prevention and countermeasures for contagious diseases, and the relation between the press agency and health sector including the field of preventive health care.
- Based on the proposed theories, the Thesis has investigated, assessed the reporting of disease prevention on three digital newspapers: suckhoedoisong.vn, suckhoemoitruong.com.vn, dantri.com; and identifying the advantages and disadvantages, particularly the origin of the disadvantages; as well as having investigated the feedback from public and in-depth interviews with experts as basis for the proposals of appropriate solutions and suggestions.
- Based on the researched theoretical and realistic basis, the Thesis has put forward detailed proposals and suggestions to the press agency on developing contents and enhancing the quality of articles reporting information of contagious diseases in the future. The press needs to fulfill its role and responsibility, and be more active in reporting information regarding contagious diseases, enhance the capability of their journalists, reporters; diversify the content, improve the delivery… to make concrete contributions to the press in general and to digital and printed press in particular to improve the performance of their role and mission in issues related to health, contribute in the promotion of public healthcare and disease prevention. The thesis result also contributes to the communication, in particular communication in the present medical field.
11. Practical application:
The thesis' result has practical application in the organization of communication-health education, and development of information content on digital newspaper in the upcoming time.
12. Further research:
Based on the results of this research, further research such as research into the solutions and methods to provide information concerning contagious disease prevention between medical agencies and press agencies for more rapid and accurate reporting; or expansion on the research of other forms of press such as printed press, radio and television broadcast; should be implemented.
