10. Summary of the thesis results:

Research topic"Use short news segments in local television news programs."The purpose of this study is to research and evaluate the use of short news reports in local television news programs. It identifies shortcomings in these programs and proposes solutions to overcome these limitations and improve the quality of local television news programming.

This thesis conducts surveys, investigations, analyses, and evaluations of the quality and effectiveness of programs being socialized by the Bac Giang and Quang Ngai radio and television stations, as well as some neighboring regional television stations, from June 2017 to December 2018.

This thesis clarifies the role of short news segments in each news program of a local television station. It examines topics such as subject selection, presentation style, reading style, program hosting, on-location reporting, use of on-location sound effects, and the placement of short news segments within the overall program to achieve the highest effectiveness, attractiveness, and engagement for viewers of the local television station's news program.

The methods used in this thesis include: document research method; empirical research method; statistical, analytical, demonstrative, and evaluative methods; fieldwork and collaborative work methods; and sociological survey methods: in-depth interviews and sociological surveys.

This topic provides a scientific basis to help leaders, managers, editors, and reporters gain a comprehensive understanding of the important role of using short news reports in each news program, guiding them towards improving the quality of production and enhancing the news quality of local radio and television stations. It also serves as a theoretical foundation for further research from a more innovative perspective.

Through the completion of this project, it can be affirmed that:Use short news segments in local television news programs.This is an inevitable and objective trend in the development of television stations. However, to effectively produce short news reports and utilize them in local television news programs, many aspects need to be addressed simultaneously, with a focus on management. Only good management can ensure the quality and effectiveness of television programs.

This research topic applies theories of journalism and television to address a specific practical problem: directing the production of short news reports at local television stations today. Therefore, the research results will, to some extent, contribute to and supplement the theory of television journalism regarding the use of news reports in current local television news programs.

11. Sumary of the findings of the thesis: The main purose of this thesis is research, evaluating the effect of short reportage in the news on local television. Therefore, improve the quantity of short reportage in news on local television, and findings solutions to reduce errors.

This thesis includes the research, investigation, classification, valuation and assessment of the programs which have been socializing in television and broadcast stations in Bac Giang, Quang Ngai and some others near Bac Giang province from June 2017 to December 2018. The role of the press, especially the role of short reportage in the news of local television.

From this thesis, the author came to the following conclusion: choosing, expressing, reading, MC, MC in site, using sound, as well as arranged methods in overall programs to achieve the highest efficiency, attracting the audiences to watch the news in local television. The topic plays important role for leaders, editors, reporters knowing how to use short reportage in the news programs. This is the theoretical basis for further research in the new method.

14. This thesis confirms: Using the short reportage in the news on local television is an indispensable trend. However, in order to well complete the short reportage of production and obtain its whole, there are comprehensive and urgent requirements, particularly the management because of its importance in maintaining the quality and results of television programs.
