There are a total of 70 modal particles in 16 Vietnamese language textbooks for foreigners. Modal particles are used quite diversely and extensively in these textbooks. However, the frequency of their use varies across textbooks. This makes it difficult for foreigners to understand modal particles in Vietnamese. Therefore, we need to organize the modal particles in these textbooks more effectively.
