Firstly: Systematize some theoretical and practical issues related to MICE tourism as well as point out the necessary conditions for doing MICE tourism business in hotels and give a general overview of the MICE tourism business situation in hotels in the world and in Vietnam.

Second: Systematize the conditions for developing MICE tourism at the selected hotels for research and thereby present the current status of MICE tourism activities at 5-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. In general, Ho Chi Minh City has many favorable conditions for developing MICE tourism and has achieved initial successes, however, there are still many difficulties that still exist and need to find solutions to overcome.

Third: Based on the city's tourism development orientations, the thesis has proposed a number of solutions to develop MICE tourism at 5-star hotels, focusing on promoting the development of the MICE tourist market and promoting marketing policies for MICE tourists.
